Transdev Talent Acquisition Specialist in Brossard, Canada

Reporting to theDirector, People and Talent Development, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev’s business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a strategic and operational advisor to the rail team to appropriately target their needs and fill positions in an optimal manner

  • Developing and updating compelling job descriptions in English and French

  • Finding innovative approaches to reach active and passive candidates across different platforms and maintain a pipeline of diverse pre-qualified candidates

  • Building a network of professional contacts that will provide you with the agility you need to fill open corporate and rail specific positions

  • Implementing structured processes for interviews, candidate evaluations and tracking job offers

  • Identify hiring needs by meeting with managers to ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with business goals

  • Conducting interviews with candidates in collaboration with hiring managers

  • Implementing policies, tools, processes, and a resource library to improve the recruitment & selection processes

  • Drafting analytical and documented recruiting reports for stakeholders


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a recruiting position, for specialized roles in national and international markets

  • Proficient in recruitment, networking and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Indeed

  • Experience with Human Resource Management Systems or payroll system (Knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow is an asset)

  • Post-secondary education or certification in Human Resources (considered an asset)

  • Solid planning, coordination, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Ability to be resourceful, proactive and anticipate needs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to provide a positive experience to all stakeholders involved in the hiring process

  • Experience working in the transport sector (an asset)

  • Must work out of Brossard (Québec) or Greater Toronto Area (Ontario)
