This is a temp position for 90 days with the intention to transfer to a full time position after 90 days.
This position will specialize in Colorado Medicaid claims processing. The Claims Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and submitting claims in accordance with our contract. The claims specialist will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and submitting invoices to providers leasing tablet devices and other IntelliRide Colorado clients. The claims specialist will be responsible for general administrative duties. Job Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Receive and process the reimbursement requests for Health First Colorado members utilizing mileage reimbursement.
Receive and process the reimbursement requests for Health First Colorado members for meals and lodging requests.
Retrieve 270/270 file from HCPF and process
Assist providers with adjustment requests
Answer Provider Claims Inquiries and Reconciliation requests
Clear Individual Provider Driver Logs within 3 business days of receipt of clean claim
Send Notice of Missing Information to Providers or Denial letter, if applicable, within 15 business days of receipt of documentation
Prepare, maintain, and send monthly tablet lease invoices to Providers
Prepare, maintain, and send monthly service invoices to IntelliRide Clients
Complete post claims audit
Field and years of experience preferred:
Skills and Knowledge Required:
This position requires a basic understanding of the claims handling process;
Candidate must have working knowledge and be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word;
The ability to maintain deadlines and timeframes dictated by financial reporting requirements;
The ability to work independently;
The ability to be flexible to meet the daily challenges.
Must submit to a drug test and background check after accepting job offer.
100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities
Travel <5% for occasional meetings
Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
