The LMS Administrator’s main responsibilities include but are not limited to providing administrative and technical support to end users, troubleshooting system issues, training new and existing users on how to fully utilize the system. This role is also responsible for maintaining the training records, including tracking and updating enrollment, user profiles, certifications and test scores and creating reports.
Oversee and provide daily LMS support to all users including management of LMS security and access for new users
Create month-end and weekly reports for user activity
Create, manage, and analyze LMS metrics
Manage the relationship with the LMS vendor
Load and test 3 rd party learning content to the LMS
Create, write and maintain the monthly training newsletter
Monitor enrollments and communicate with managers on compliance training
Produce training materials (i.e. tests, assessments, surveys) for in-house courses as appropriate and update regularly based on company needs
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and LMS trends
Assist with various projects and research as requested
Education, Licensing, and Certifications :
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Learning Management System (LMS) experience required
Working knowledge of content creation software such as Lectora, Articulate Storyline, Captivate
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Ability to prioritize projects and solid problem solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, technical skills
Comfortable with data management
Travel requirement: Some travel; less than 5% annually
